The Blurb: Bad boys are unreliable, uncaring, arrogant, immature, disrespectful players with no care for laws, rules, guidelines or girls’ feelings, according to Jacey Collins. Good girls are condescending, conceited, stuck-up, vain b*****s who stay inside the boundaries and don’t know how to live life, according to Colton Shaw. So what happens when you put Jacey Collins, a good girl, with Colton Shaw, a bad boy in the same house for a year? Parties, alcohol, secret relationships, betrayal, fights, heart break, break-ups, hook-ups, one-night-stands, pain, tears, anger, revenge-seeking-enemies, and I'm only getting started.

Emma Ross is a hard-working, quiet girl who tries to stay off the radar. It's all going okay for her until she starts getting along with one of the 'It' boys. Having this happen, comes with drama and pain, is it all worth it? Or it is just best to stay out of it all? As Emma battles with the conflict, which will she choose? It might just be the best thing for her...

The Bro Code

Title: The Bro Code
Author: joecool123 (Joe)
Pages: 48 (for now, unfinished)
Reads: 1,279,659
Votes: 19,395
The Blurb:
Rule number 4: 'If a girl falls into the following criteria, she is off limits forever until the end of time: A. Was a bro's ex-girlfriend. B. Your bro specifically told you he wanted her. C. Is your bro's sister.' Eliza O'Conner happened to be all three. Nick Maguire, the king player of East High, knew better than to fall in love. So then what was he doing with the sister of his best-friend? And how far would he go to keep it a secret?
Link: http://www.wattpad.com/story/1001445-the-bro-code

My Opinion: Love Story written by a male? And in male POV? I'm there! It's a nice chance to see how their minds work! Besides, it's forbidden love. What's better than forbidden love?

Innocently Falling

Title: Innocently Falling
Author: MandyMuch
Pages: 105
Reads: 557,960
Votes: 5,889
The Blurb:
Lucas is a player, who is handsome, caring, and above all extremely charming. Megan is the complete opposite, she is gorgeous but doesn't know it. Guys falls in love with her instantly, not just because of her amazing looks, but also because of the innocent personality that comes goes along with those looks. Lucas is Megan's older brother's best friend. In a total cliche kind of way for as long back as Megan could remember she has been in love with Lucas. She grew up with him and would trust him with her life, but could she trust him with her heart? While she waits along the wings for Lucas to finally notice her as more than his best friend's little sister, there are plenty of men chasing Megan. Will Lucas realize his feelings for her before it is too late. Or will Megan decide to move on and pursue one of her many offers?
Link: http://www.wattpad.com/story/926137-innocently-falling

My Opinion: Yay, stereotype! There's nothing I love more than a good girl in love with his older brother's player best friend! And the dress on the cover is breathtaking!

Flight 21

Title: Flight 21
Author: shainamason (Shaina Mason)
Pages: 68 (for now, unfinished)
Reads: 890,679
Votes: 10,800
The Blurb:
Avery Quinton is a rebel. So when she gets expelled from her fourth boarding school her parents decide it's time to fly her home. Trent Ashton isn't normal. He's rude, conceited and selfish. And according to Avery, he has one too many secrets. They both get on a plane to Manhattan, only, the flight never makes it. Now they're stuck on an island together. They're going to wish they never got on Flight 21
Link: http://www.wattpad.com/story/441011-flight-21

My Opinion: A rebel girl, a rude 'conceited' boy (that word keeps reminding me of Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice) alone in an island? That's one nice plot! It is under the category of 'Vampire', so maybe he is one? I don't know, I'll read it!

And now, the special section in this meme... A One Direction fanfic!!

Stand Up- A One Direction/Zayn Malik fanfiction

Title: Stand Up- A One Direction/Zayn Malik fanfiction.
Author: Liams_Princess (Samatha Horan)
Pages: 89 (for now, unfinished)
Reads: 877,583
Votes: 2,712
The Blurb:
Violet might just be the happiest person alive- and that's without hot young pop-stars interfering. When Violet keeps quite literally bumping into THE Zayn Malik, things heat up- But when she has to keep this from all the fans and even her best friend, everything gets complicated. What happens when she gets closer to the boys?
Link: http://www.wattpad.com/story/1141699-stand-up-a-one-direction-zayn-malik-fanfiction

My Opinion: I get too carried away by my Direction Infection, I am a crazy directioner!! This one looks amazing! I have never read a Zayn fanfic, and he is so sexy and hot and handsome! The title got me singing 'I'm a thief, I'm a thief' all around my house!

Tell me, any thoughts, dreams, comments, suggestions? Don't hold back and tell me!!

Teaser Tuesday- Love Story, by Jennifer Echols (#2)

Title: Love Story
Author: Jennifer Echols
Pages: 243
Publisher: MTV Books
Goodreads Rating: 3.70
The Blurb:
She's writing about him. he's writing about her. And everybody is reading between the lines..
For Erin Blackwell, majoring in creative writing at the New York City college of her dreams is more than a chance to fulfill her ambitions--it's her ticket away from the tragic memories that shadow her family's racehorse farm in Kentucky. But when she refuses to major in business and take over the farm herself someday, her grandmother gives Erin's college tuition and promised inheritance to their maddeningly handsome stable boy, Hunter Allen. Now Erin has to win an internship and work late nights at a coffee shop to make her own dreams a reality. She should despise Hunter . . . so why does he sneak into her thoughts as the hero of her latest writing assignment?

Then, on the day she's sharing that assignment with her class, Hunter walks in. He's joining her class. And after he reads about himself in her story, her private fantasies about him must be painfully clear. She only hopes to persuade him not to reveal her secret to everyone else. But Hunter devises his own creative revenge, writing sexy stories that drive the whole class wild with curiosity and fill Erin's heart with longing. Now she's not just imagining what might have been. She's writing a whole new ending for her romance with Hunter . . . except this story could come true.

Excerpt:

``He is here for you!´´ she insisted.
``He's cutting faces for Jordis,´´ I corrected her. ``Everybody in the dorm has cut faces for Jordis at one time or another.´´
``Yes, but most of them didn't come back for more.´´
She had a point. And, truth be told, I did think Hunter was there for me. I just didn't know why. I huffed out a sigh and hissed, ``He's already got my inheritance, my tuition and a career at my farm. He has no reason to flirt with me, sometimes, and sometimes insult me and try to make me feel awful about breaking away from my grandmother.´´
``He likes you,´´ Summer whispered. ``More than likes. He's interested in you romantically.´´
``Oh, yeah? Then why did he feel up that blonde at the party in the bathroom?´´
``He was trying to make you jealous,´´ Summer said with exaggerated patience, ``just like in the story. He is giving you obvious hints, and you are choosing not to take them.´´

Reasons Why You Need To Read This Book:

- Because it's a book about writing books, and it's as cool as that sounds.
- Because seeing a romance develop in little stories written by the main characters is so cute!
- Because Hunter is too sexy for anyone's own good.
- Because Erin follows her dream of being a writer whatever the cost. That's one example to follow, isn't she?
- Because it's one nice love story (thus the title). I particularly liked the hospital scene, they were super cute there.

It's Monday!! What Are You Reading?

Hello, readers!
How's your life? How's everything? Looking good?
My life right now is as brilliant as a summer sun, as the stars that shine in the sky, as... Jace's eyes!! And why is that? Because I'm finally reading City of Fallen Angels!! I'm ecstatic, I want to jump, shout and fangirl!! Jace is so cute!!

Back to the post, here's what I'll be reading this week:
I'll keep on and finish City of Fallen Angels, by Cassandra Clare. After that I am reading Abandon by Meg Cabot, Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles and My Blood Approves by Amanda Hocking. If I manage to finish all of those, I will read Uglies by Scott Westerfeld.
I will review City Of Fallen Angels, although I don't advise to read it if you haven't read the previous ones, it is likely to contain spoilers (like, family spoilers). Then Abandon and Perfect Chemistry.
On the other hand, I am also writing a lot. Not actually writing, but plotting and developing character Bios, and it's really helping me!

This week I start my final exams, although I barely have to do any because my grades were good enough for me not to do them. Therefore, I will be helping at my school's summer book fair. Yay, the whole day arranging books! To some people it may seem boring, but me and books in the same room= fun! (not in that sense, you dirty minds, okay? That would be me and Jace in a room!). So wish me luck with my exams, I wish it to you too!
Oh, and by the way, I'd like to make a shoutout to two very annoying friends. Blanca and Maria, will you stop arguing over Liam Payne!!?? He's not yours! Or anyway, you can share him! Someone please save me! Any Prince Charming out there who will?
So comment and Tell me, any reading plans? What are you doing this week?

Book Review: Stefan's Diaries- L.J Smith, Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson (#5)

Origins

Title: Origins
Author: L.J Smith, Julie Plec & Kevin Williamson
Series: Stefan's Diaries #1
Pages: 237
Publisher: HarperTeen
Goodreads: 3.92
The Blurb:
In the first novel of this thrilling new series fans of the hit television show THE VAMPIRE DIARIES will finally find out how a passionate romance with a dangerous girl turned loving brothers into deadly enemies.

Set during the Civil War, against a backdrop of grand estates, unimaginable riches, and deadly secrets, three teenagers in Mystic Falls, Virginia enter a torrid love triangle that will span eternity.

Brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore are inseparable until they meet Katherine, a stunning, mysterious woman who turns their world upside down. Siblings turned rivals, the Salvatores compete for Katherine’s affection, only to discover that her sumptuous silk dresses and glittering gems hide a terrible secret: Katherine is a vampire. And she is intent on turning them into vampires so they can live together—forever.

Review:
This book was good, it really is. The problem is that I already know how it ends! I have watched the show, and everything was already shown in it too! I knew what Katherine was going ot do, how Stefan and Damon were going to react, how they would be turned... Everything! But it was nice.

Stefan was my lovely, sweet Stefan he always is (well, except in his evil-Stefan fase). He did what he believed was right and he tried to be good to everyone. It was so sad when he was going to marry Rosalyn because his father told him to, although he 'loved' Katherine (did he, or was it just compulsion?).

Damon didn't appear much. I would have prefered it if he had more scenes with Katherine (I know, I know, Stefan's Diaries, not Damon's, but he was in love with her for 146 years, he deserves more time with her in the book!). He was my Damon alright, such a rebel and desperately in love! I need more of him, I do!

Katherine was plain charming. Had I not known who she is or what she was planning, I would have fallen for her too! She nicknamed Stefan, played games.. she was lovely. It's sad to think that she still loved him 146 years later! Which leads me to... WHERE IS KATHERINE?!?! She has disappeared from the show? I expect her to come back worse than ever!!

The writing style was nice. A bit out of date, but it was Mystic Falls 1864, can't blame them!

COVER: It's a half face. as usual, but it's not any half face. IT'S PAUL'S WESLEY'S HALF FACE! That's one handsome half face, isn't it? Although I prefer Ian Somerhalder's sexy half face!

Rating:
Plot: 3.5

TOTAL: 3.5

Things I have Learnt With This Book:
- If you feel something strange when you tell a mysterious person or vamp that you love them, be careful, he might be using compulsion.
-If you're a vampire, you might want to check that a person isn't on verbain before drinking their blood. The effects can be most... unwanted.

In My Mailbox #3

Hello!
I have just returned from the library, and I got a huge stack of books! I need to be ready for the Wicked Wildfire Read-A-Thon starting next week, don't I? Here they are for you to see:

Uglies- Scott Westerfield

Series: Uglies #1
Pages: 425
Publisher: Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing
Goodreads Rating: 3.88
The Blurb:
Everybody gets to be supermodel gorgeous. What could be wrong with that? Tally is about to turn sixteen, and she can't wait. Not for her license -- for turning pretty. In Tally's world, your sixteenth birthday brings an operation that turns you from a repellent ugly into a stunningly attractive pretty and catapults you into a high-tech paradise where your only job is to have a really great time. In just a few weeks Tally will be there.
But Tally's new friend Shay isn't sure she wants to be pretty. She'd rather risk life on the outside. When Shay runs away, Tally learns about a whole new side of the pretty world and it isn't very pretty. The authorities offer Tally the worst choice she can imagine: find her friend and turn her in, or never turn pretty at all. The choice Tally makes changes her world forever.

My Opinion: A dystopian! I love those! I have heard very good critics about this one, although one friend of mine read it and didn't like it much. Let's see what I think!

Perfect Chemistry- Simone Elkeles

Series: Perfect Chemistry #1
Pages: 360
Publisher: Walker Books For Young Readers
Goodreads Rating: 4.26
The Blurb:
When Brittany Ellis walks into chemistry class on the first day of senior year, she has no clue that her carefully created 'perfect' life is about to unravel before her eyes. She's forced to be lab partners with Alex Fuentes, a gang member from the other side of town, and he is about to threaten everything she's worked so hard for: her flawless reputation, her relationship with her boyfriend, and the secret that her home life is anything but perfect.

Alex is a bad boy and he knows it. So when he makes a bet with his friends to lure Brittany into his life, he thinks nothing of it. But soon Alex realizes Brittany is a real person with real problems, and suddenly the bet he made in arrogance turns into something much more.

In a passionate story about looking beneath the surface, Simone Elkeles breaks through the stereotypes and barriers that threaten to keep Brittany and Alex apart.

My Opinion: Finally! I have been wanting to read this one since one of my best friends did and told me it was amazing. I can't wait to tell you about it!

My Blood Approves- Amanda Hocking

Series: My Blood Approves #1
Pages: 261
Publisher: Lulu
Goodreads: 3.90
The Blurb:
Teenager Alice Bonham's life feels crazy after she meets Jack. With his fondness for pink Chuck Taylors and New Wave, he's unlike anyone she knows. Then she meets his brother, Peter. Even though he can't stand the sight of her, she's drawn to him. Falling for two guys isn't even the worst of her problems. Jack and Peter are vampires, and Alice finds herself caught between love and her own blood

My Opinion: This one was self-published in Amazon and it became a great hit, so it must be really good (you know, it got famous without all the publicity publishing houses do). And a brother love triangle is one of the best things that have happened to Young Adult!

Abandon- Meg Cabot

Series: Abandon Trilogy #1
Pages: 304
Publisher: Point
Goodreads: 3.72
The Blurb:
New from #1 New York Times bestselling author Meg Cabot, a dark, fantastical story about this world . . . and the underworld.

Though she tries returning to the life she knew before the accident, Pierce can't help but feel at once a part of this world, and apart from it. Yet she's never alone . . . because someone is always watching her. Escape from the realm of the dead is impossible when someone there wants you back.

But now she's moved to a new town. Maybe at her new school, she can start fresh. Maybe she can stop feeling so afraid.

Only she can't. Because even here, he finds her. That's how desperately he wants her back. She knows he's no guardian angel, and his dark world isn't exactly heaven, yet she can't stay away . . . especially since he always appears when she least expects it, but exactly when she needs him most.

But if she lets herself fall any further, she may just find herself back in the one place she most fears: the Underworld.

My Opinion: Persephone retelling maybe? I love greek mythology retellings!! Besides, Meg Cabot is such a good writer! I have only read the Princess Diaries by her, but they were fantastic.

This Lullaby- Sarah Dessen

Pages: 345
Publisher: Speak
Goodreads Rating: 4.10
The Blurb:
When it comes to relationships, Remy doesn't mess around. After all, she's learned all there is to know from her mother, who's currently working on husband number five. But there's something about Dexter that seems to defy all of Remy's rules. He certainly doesn't seem like Mr. Right. For some reason, however, Remy just can't seem to shake him. Could it be that Remy's starting to understand what those love songs are all about?

My Opinion: My first Sarah Dessen book! No need to say, it wasn't because I didn't want to, but because they weren't published here in Spain!

Tatuaje- Ana Alonso & Javier Pelegrín (This Book is in Spanish, I'll translite the blurb myself)

Series: Tatuaje #1
Pages: 427
Publisher: Viceversa Juvenil
Goodreads Rating: 3.11
The Blurb:
Some tatoos are something more than a simple ornament on the skin. Their magic could unite you forver to the person you love... or forbid you to touch them and turn into your worst nightmare.

Alex is sixteen years old and he's madly in love with a mysterious girl in his class, Jana. He never could have imagined that after following her after a party, his life would change would change so much. Jana, an orphan, lives with his brother , David, and it is rumoured that they both get by thanks to the weirdest job: the one of magic tatoos.

Alex will see their power, that will take him to discover the existence of the medu clans. This unnerving creatures have lived for a long time among humans and fighting against themselves, but now they know that they must unite to defeat their most feared enemy: the Last Guardian, destined to erase the clans from the Earth's surface.

My Opinion: I don't know what to think. Spanish YA books aren't my favourites, but who knows? Maybe I will love it!

What's your opinion? Any thoughts? I would love to hear them!

Book Review: Night Star, by Alyson Noël (#4)

Title: Night Star
Author: Alyson Noël
Series: The Immortals #5
Pages: 302
Publisher: St. Martin's Griffin
Other Books By The Author: Evermore, Blue Moon, Shadowland, Dark Flame, Everlasting, Radiance, Shimmer, Dreamland, Whisper, Saving Zoë, Art Geeks and Prom Queens, Cruel Summer, Faking 19, Kiss and Blog, Laguna Cove, Fly Me To The Moon, Fated.
The Blurb: After fighting for centuries to be together, Ever and Damen’s future hinges on one final showdown that will leave readers gasping for breath. Don’t miss this explosive new installment of the #1 bestselling series that’s enchanted millions across the world!

Haven still blames Ever for the death of her boyfriend Roman, no matter how hard Ever’s tried to convince her it was an accident. Now she’s determined to take Ever down…and destroy Damen and Jude along the way. Her first step is to tear Ever and Damen apart—and she has just the ammunition to do it.

Hidden in one of Ever’s past lives is a terrible secret about Damen—a secret that illuminates new facts about her relationship with Jude, but that’s so dark and brutal it might be enough to drive her and Damen apart once and for all. As Ever faces her greatest fears about the guy she wants to spend eternity with, she’s thrust into a deadly clash with Haven that could destroy them all.

Now it’ll take everything she’s got—and bring out powers she never knew she had—to face down her most formidable enemy. But in order to win, she must first ask herself: is her own survival worth dooming Haven to an eternity of darkness in the Shadowland? And will learning the truth about Damen’s past hold the key to their future?

Review:
This book was so much better than Dark Flame, the previous one! For one thing, Ever wasn't sooo depressed, she was happy (most of the time) and although all the bad things that can happen to a person happened to her, she didn't give up. Good for you, Ever! The depressing outlook in the previous books made me depressed myself, but this one didn't. The plot was good, and the love triangle wasn't one of those stressing ones, I liked it.

Ever was happier here, more balanced. She has gone through alcohol addiction, elixir addiction, Roman addiction... And like Britney Spears, she has finally found herself. That doesn't mean that she isn't a little bit troubled about who to chose, Damen or Jude. I didn't like her attitude towards Sabine, but it's also true that it isn't entirely her fault. I loved her mental conversations with Damen during class.

Damen was so sweet! I'm in love with him, I totally am. He has never stopped loving Ever, he's adorable. I liked him more at the beginning of the series, when he was a vain, cool and supeficial bad boy. That's just me, I'm crazy. Anyway, as long as he isn't Karma crazy I'm fine. He keeps secrets from Ever... but he's perfect.

Haven is just hateful, can I punch her in her weak chakra and send her already to the Shadowland? Please? She's over-paranoical, elixir-addicted and a total failure as immortal, and all she wants to do in the entire book is kill Ever? Obsessed much? Miles was just as sweet as always, nice and supporting and a good friend. I always imagine him like Kurt from Glee, I don't know why. Will he go to NYADA to be an actor too? I can see him in Broadway! Jude was nice too, helping Ever out even though she doesn't love him like he does. Poor him, I hope he finds his soulmate someday.

Alyson Noël's characteristic writing style is easily recognizable, full of adjectives that make everything graphic and beautiful and flowing easily, letting us see what she sees and feel what Ever feels.

Cover: Typical 'The Immortals' cover: girl's face with some object that appears in the story. Here we have Ever with the elixir, I guess. I like it, although it's nothing outstanding.

To sum up, it's way better than the previous one, more dynamic and with more romance. Ever realisation of her undying love for Damen is so romatic!

For Darkness Shows The Stars

Title: For Darkness Shows The Stars
Author: Diana Peterfreund
Pages: 398
Publisher: Balzer + Bray
Release Date: 12 June
The Blurb: Generations ago, a genetic experiment gone wrong—the Reduction—decimated humanity, giving rise to a Luddite nobility who outlawed most technology.

Elliot North has always known her place in this world. Four years ago Elliot refused to run away with her childhood sweetheart, the servant Kai, choosing duty to her family’s estate over love. Since then the world has changed: a new class of Post-Reductionists is jumpstarting the wheel of progress, and Elliot’s estate is foundering, forcing her to rent land to the mysterious Cloud Fleet, a group of shipbuilders that includes renowned explorer Captain Malakai Wentforth—an almost unrecognizable Kai. And while Elliot wonders if this could be their second chance, Kai seems determined to show Elliot exactly what she gave up when she let him go.

But Elliot soon discovers her old friend carries a secret—one that could change their society . . . or bring it to its knees. And again, she’s faced with a choice: cling to what she’s been raised to believe, or cast her lot with the only boy she’s ever loved, even if she’s lost him forever.

Inspired by Jane Austen’s Persuasion, For Darkness Shows the Stars is a breathtaking romance about opening your mind to the future and your heart to the one person you know can break it.

My Opinion: I heard it's incredible. I hope I can read it. I absolutely love retellings, and Jane Austen's specially!

My Opinion: It has already come out, but I heard out there that it is sooo good! The world is a very complicated one, they say. The cover would suit a contemporary best, but it's gorgeous anyway.

The Blurb: Evie finally has the normal life she’s always longed for. But she’s shocked to discover that being ordinary can be . . . kind of boring. Just when Evie starts to long for her days at the International Paranormal Containment Agency, she’s given a chance to work for them again. Desperate for a break from all the normalcy, she agrees.

But as one disastrous mission leads to another, Evie starts to wonder if she made the right choice. And when Evie’s faerie ex-boyfriend Reth appears with devastating revelations about her past, she discovers that there’s a battle brewing between the faerie courts that could throw the whole supernatural world into chaos. The prize in question? Evie herself.

So much for normal.

My Opinion: I'm eager to read this one! Looks good, I knew Evie wouldn't be able to stay out of trouble... What will Reth do? I kind of liked him, although he was bad! I want to see what Lend does. Besides I like the faerie courts!

The Iron Daughter

Author: Julie Kagawa
Series: The Iron Fey #2
Pages: 359
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Other Books By The Author: The Iron King, The Iron Queen, The Iron Prince, The Iron Knight, The Immortal Rules.
The Blurb: Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fit in anywhere. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron fey—ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her.
Worse, Meghan's own fey powers have been cut off. She's stuck in Faery with only her wits for help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can't help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.

My Opinion: Yay faeries! I don't want Ash to be bad :( I know that this is where the Love Triangle really starts, and I can't wait for that!

Pandemonium

Title: Pandemonium
Author: Lauren Oliver
Series: Delirium #2
Pages: 375
Publisher: HarperTeen
Other Books By The Author: Before I Fall, Delirium, Liesl & Po
The Blurb: I’m pushing aside
the memory of my nightmare,
pushing aside thoughts of Alex,
pushing aside thoughts of Hana
and my old school,
push,
push,
push,
like Raven taught me to do.
The old life is dead.
But the old Lena is dead too.
I buried her.
I left her beyond a fence,
behind a wall of smoke and flame.

Lauren Oliver delivers an electrifying follow-up to her acclaimed New York Times bestseller, ' Delirium.' This riveting, brilliant novel crackles with the fire of fierce defiance, forbidden romance, and the sparks of a revolution about to ignite.

My Opinion: WAAAAA!! Finally! I have awaited this book for so long! I want to know what happened with Alex and what will happen with Lena! The previous book ended with such a cliffhanger!

What do you think? I want all of your opinions down there in the comments section! Which one shall I start with?

Movie Review: Snow White and The Huntsman (#1)

Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth

I enjoyed this movie quite a lot. There were interesting twists in the plot, interpreteations of the fairytale that I wouldn't have thought of.

The setting was very twilighty. Everything was dark, except for the snow scenes, when it was white, obviously. All the trees and mountains were exactly like those in twilight, and the gothic atmosphere was almost the same. The dresses were beautiful, and the queen's hairdoes were so impossibly lovely! I didn't like how they were almost always covered with mud or dirty. I always say that during the Middle Ages everyone- except for the nobility- wore brown, and the stylist in this movie seems to agree with me.

Kristen was absolutely beautiful. Black hair really suits her, and the contrast it makes with her pale, flawless skin. I envy it! What shocked me about her appearace was her eyes. In Twilight she had brown lenses on, so we didn't get to see how her eyes were like in reality. Here, she wore none, and her green-blue eyes were simply amazing. She played her part beautifully, but to me she will always be the sad, depressed Bella (whom I love, don't get me wrong). When she bit the apple and was dying, I thought of the time when James bit her in Twilight. And when she was dead, laying down and wearing a white gown, I had the feeling that any moment she would open her eyes and they would be red, like in the end of Breaking Dawn Part 1. I loved the part when she gave this little pep-talk to all the men, telling them to fight with her. She sounded like she had eaten all of Shakespeare's works, all she used were long and ancient words with weird grammar. It was so good!

Chris Hemsworth, who played the Huntsman, was totally gorgeous. There were times when he looked at the horizon when he got the same expression of his brother, Liam Hemsworth, and I thought of Gale in The Hunger Games all the time. At the beginning I didn't like his character, because he was always drunk and trying to take Snow White to the queen, but later, I fell for him. (By the way, he has just had a child with his wife Elsa Pataky. The baby must be so beautiful, with such parents! Congrats, Chris!)

Charlize was the most evil villain of history (maybe Voldemort beats her, but still). On her youth periods, she was so beautiful! At her wedding, her long blonde hair was amazing. She might have to go to some anger management classes. The times when she got angry- there were a lot- she screamed and opened her eyes so much I feared they would pop out. The way she killed people by putting her hand close to their heart and squeezing was very cool, I loved it. She played the bad-person part incredibly well.

I liked the movie, and I recommend it to you if you liked 'Red Riding Hood' (with Amanda Seyfried) or maybe Twilight. Or if you simply like retellings, then it's for you too.
Piece of advice: if you watch it at the cinema don't buy the big drink, it's nearly two hours long.
Rating: ***+ (3.5 Stars)

Teaser Tuesday - Paranormalcy, by Kiersten White

Teaser Tuesday is a meme in which I open a random book at a random page and give you some random paragraph (teaser) that catches your attention.
Today's book is Paranormalcy, by Kiersten White

Series: Paranormalcy #1
Pages: 335
Publisher: HarperTeen
Other Books By The Author: Supernaturally
The Blurb: Weird as it is working for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, Evie’s always thought of herself as normal. Sure, her best friend is a mermaid, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she's falling for a shape-shifter, and she's the only person who can see through paranormals' glamours, but still. Normal.

Only now paranormals are dying, and Evie's dreams are filled with haunting voices and mysterious prophecies. She soon realizes that there may be a link between her abilities and the sudden rash of deaths. Not only that, but she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.

So much for normal

I shoved the flat of the blade against his chest and he let go of my hand, backing up a step. Iron is the best against faeries, but they aren’t fans of silver either. ``Enough,´´ I mouthed, pointing to my neck. Glaring, he flicked his hand and my throat tingled.
``Why are you fighting this?´´
``Because you’re a lunatic! I don’t want this! I don’t belong to you! I never will.´´
A half smile twisted his perfect face. ``You’re wrong.´´
Reasons why you need to read this book:
·        Because of the chapter titles. They are the most hilarious ever. (Eg: Faerly Stupid; Dumbbells, Boys and Other Dense Things; Hey, Stupid…)
·        Because Evie’s love for lockers isn’t normal.
·        Because Lend is just too sweet.
·        Because it’s light and so funny, it’s fantastic.
·        Because I want a taser called Tasey that is pink with rhinestones and with which I can capture vampires.
·        Because being nicknamed ‘stupid’ isn’t nearly as nice as it sounds.
·        You know, because I say so. It’s too good to miss it. Like your teacher would tell you, it’s for your own good.
So what are you waiting for? Go read it! And until then, comment and tell me what you think of it!

**************************************
I won't be able to post anything more today, because I've been the whole afternoon out with my friends and now it's time to go to bed! I've watched 'Snowhite and The Hunstman' at the cinema, I'll give you a review tomorrow!! Happy Reading!

For All The Writers Out There

Hello people!
Here goes a little piece of information about myself. When I grow up, I would love to be a writer. I love writing YA novels, even if I have never finished one. I always look for advice on how to write better, because every little piece of help is welcome when you are lost, as I am.
Today I was reading Richelle Mead's blog (she's the author of the Vampire Academy series, Geogina Kincaid series and Dark Swan series), and I stumbled upon some really jummy info: she's starting a new series, 'Age of X', and she's keeping us informed with her writing process. I admire her books a lot, and I figured that seeing how she writes can be a good way to learn myself. Go look at it in her blog: http://blue-succubus.livejournal.com/ , she has some really good advice.
Also, the Frostbite Graphic Novel is coming out! Here are some great pictures so that you can get all mouth-watery and go to buy it!

Oh My God, ADRIAN IVASHKOV!! He's sooo hansome and hot!! I love him!!

And here is Dimitri teaching Rose how to stake an strigoi. They's soooo cute!! I want a teacher like him! Of course, I also want a school like St. Vladimir and to be a dhampir or Moroi. Now, wouldn't that be cute!!

Comment and tell me what you think, all of you!!

Book Review #3: Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead

The Blurb: Murder. Love. Jealousy. And the ultimate sacrifice.

Rose Hathaway has always played by her own rules. She broke the law when she ran away from St. Vladimir’s Academy with her best friend and last surviving Dragomir Princess, Lissa. She broke the law when she fell in love with her gorgeous, off-limits instructor, Dimitri. And she dared to defy Queen Tatiana, leader of the Moroi world, risking her life and reputation to protect generations of dhampir guardian to come.

Now the law has finally caught up with Rose—for a crime she didn’t even commit. She’s in prison for the highest offense imaginable: the assassination of a monarch. She’ll need help from both Dimitri and Adrian to find the one living person who can stall her execution and force the Moroi elite to acknowledge a shocking new candidate for the royal throne: Vasilisa Dragomir.

But the clock on Rose’s life is running out. Rose knows in her heart the world of the dead wants her back... and this time she is truly out of second chances. The big question is, when your life is about saving others, who will save you?

Review: I finished the Vampire Academy series! I don't know if I should be happy because everything turned out fine or sad because it's over. Conflicting emotions in me, but that's nothing new. I absolutely loved it. It took me three days to read it, and there wasn't one second when I wasn't reading it that I didn't want to go back to it.
I was worried that all that had to happen wouldn't fit in just 600 pages- it seems like a lot, but it isn't, really. I was worried that Richelle Mead wouldn't have enough space to write a happy ending. She did it, however, and managed to do it beautifully. There were many unexpected twists in the plot that surprised me. While some people say that they knew all along who was the murderer and how it would all turn out, but it caught me totally by surprise. Who would have thought that person was capable of that much? The ending was what I had thought from the beginning of book one, but I was starting to fear that it wouldn't finish like that after all.
Rose is just so Rose... You only undestand me if you have read the books, she's so herself. She's amazing and unique. I already said that I loved books that made me want to be better, and this one did. This book has tought me about self-forgiveness, about doing the right thing, about searching true love and stopping at nothing to get to it. Rose excelled at everything. She's an example at never giving up and always trying to be better. It's easy to see how she has evolutionated from the beginning of the series. She used to be indisciplined, impulsive, letting what she felt control her every move and getting into fights. She has matured so much! I feel as proud as if I was her Mum, or maybe even more than Janine does. Although no more than Abe! Now she is like a mini-Dimitri. She has selfcontrol, she thinks before she acts, she avoids fights (except if they involve killing strigois), she puts other people first (specially moroi)... She's fantastic.
I'm crazy in love with Dimitri. Someday I will dedicate him a 'My Book Boyfriend'. He's perfect, perfect, perfect. He loves Rose so much! I adore him. The problem is that there is also Adrian Ivashkov. Ah, my sweet Adrian. He's so cute, so adorable... He gave up smoking and drinking for Rose, and he likes her so much... But Dimitri is meant to be with her, they are perfect for each other, they work in sync. And I want one like him! Gosh, love triangles are exhausting, but I love them all the same.
The writing style is very pretty and easy to follow, fun and light. I love this book series dearly, I adore it. I'm so sad it's already over! But tell you what, I still have Bloodlines! It won't be all about Rose, Dimitri and Lissa (who by the way was very royal and fantastic in this book), but I will have Sydney, Jill, Adrian (<3) and Eddie! They are so good, I can't wait to buy it!
COVER: A very 'Vampire Academy' style cover. The beautiful girl, the hair, the gate, the background... I liked it, though I prefered the cover of Shadow Kissed. It's pretty nonetheless.

Plot: ***** (5 Stars)
Characters: ***** (5 Stars)
Style: ****+ (4.5 Stars)
Cover:**** (4 Stars)
TOTAL: ****+ (4.5 STARS)

And a very pretty quote for you:
``Sometimes, a person can get so caught up in the details that they miss the whole. It's not just the dress or the hair. It's you. You're beautiful. So beautiful, it hurts me.´´
Tell me that you don't love it!

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? (#1)

Hello! Right now some of you are wondering waht this is... Well, it's a weekly meme in which I tell you my reading, blogging and overall plans for this week and you comment on it and tell me yours. I thought it would be fun to do!
This week I plan on reading Night Star by Alyson Noël, the fifth book in the Immortal series. I have already started, and I hope it's as good as it sounds! I also want to read the first book in the Stefan's diaries series, Origins. I love The Vampire Diaries, and I've been looking forward to it for so long! After that, trouble starts. I have ordered some books on www.amazon.es (I'm Spanish, haha) and I don't know where to start. I would love to hear your opinion: Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver, Supernaturally by Kiersten White, City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare or The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa? Save me, tell me which one I should start with!

I'm going to review Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead right now, and as soon as I finish them I'll review Night Star and Origins, so you can see how they are.

So tell me, what are you going to do this week? What are your reading plans?
